For me, great design is about unlocking a space's true potential. It's about bringing together thoughtful choices with a touch of creative bravery. I see how every detail works together – from a room's architecture right down to the furniture and soft furnishings. The perfect colour palette, the right materials, and carefully chosen finishes all play an equal role in creating a cohesive, innovative, and truly resolved look.

My approach is deeply rooted in what Emmi Collective stands for. Growing up in Noosa, I developed an early appreciation for authentic, relaxed beauty. This has fueled my passion for playful sophistication, elevated earthiness, and the rich story that natural textures tell. I love exploring diverse design periods and styles, always aiming for that beautiful balance created through contrast – an eclectic yet harmonious feel. Ultimately, a home should be inviting, vibrant, and genuinely reflect the people who live there.

My design journey began after my studies, moving to Melbourne where I spent 18 months at a boutique agency. This time proved invaluable, as I had the opportunity to work on projects featuring beautiful heritage architecture, which undoubtedly shaped my enduring love for timeless designs.

My path then led me back to the familiar, beautiful landscapes of Noosa, where I spent five transformative years at CLO Studios. Here, I had the incredible opportunity to work on high-end homes across Brisbane, Sydney, the Sunshine Coast, Melbourne, Darwin, and the Gold Coast. This extensive portfolio really sharpened my ability to create luxurious, unique spaces for diverse clients. One of my proudest moments from that time was seeing the Halse Lodge project featured in Vogue Living Online.

Now, from my new home on the South Coast of NSW, I’ve launched Emmi Collective. I'm passionate about designing for my clients, and this focus, combined with our ever-evolving industry, gives me immense creative freedom. While I'm based on the South Coast, my extensive experience working on projects across Australia means I'm perfectly positioned to service clients no matter their location.
